James cut his digital marketing teeth starting in 1999 at the digital agency Avenue A in Seattle, Washington. Since then, James stayed on the buy-side with Carat Interactive in London in 2002-2003, Avenue A|Razorfish in Seattle (for a second stint) in 2003-2005, Diffiniti and Isobar Global from 2005 to 2006 and then with Neo@Ogilvy between 2006 and 2008.
Following 10 years and 10,000 hours in agency land, James founded, in September 2008, Invizua, which is a venture catalyst and technology company.
In October 2011, James co-founded Pikslme, a powerful information service for digital marketing vendor discovery, selection, validation and investment decision-making. Pikslme's unparalleled cookie audits are now helping organisations to prepare for Europe's E-Privacy Directive.
