Ad Ops Topics: html5
HTML is a markup language that uses tags to define a structure of content elements on web pages. HTML5 is an emerging standard for this language. It is currently in "working draft" status with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). HTML5 will contain new constructs for defining elements that include functionality previously available via browser plug-ins (for example: video file playback) as well as new parsing rules.
